Many illegal immigrants are arguing that they play a huge role in the U.S. economy, because they take jobs that no Americans would ever take. Sure, illegal immigrants do play a significant part of this country's economy, but their argument that they are taking jobs that "no Americans wouldn't do" is just plain wrong.

We have hard working Americans everyday, trying to get by on a daily bases. With souring energy prices, it has become more difficult for the average American do maintain his standard of living. More Americans are taking multiple part-time jobs, because of the scarcity of the job market and the increased insecurities of a permanent jobs available in America. With the presence of illegal immigrants in the American workforce, corporations and companies were allowed to lower the standards of worker benefits and wages. This condition made it both difficult for American citizens and illegal immigrants to seek a "safe spot" in the workplace.

I do understand the difficult toils that each illegal immigrant is going through in this country, but bashing against Americans with unsubstantiated arguments backfire their own cause.
